Description:
The Gulf Irrigation Controller (RICO) is a wireless irrigation controller, allowing control of either 16 or 48 zones. It is a powerful and easy to use device and is recommended for users with access to a computer on which the RICO16 or RICO48 scheduling software is run. Once the schedules are set up on the PC they are downloaded into memory on the RICO and the unit is then capable of running completely in stand-alone mode without the need of a connection to the PC. While the PC remains connected the screen is updated with feedback information allowing the operator to see at a glance which irrigation programs are running, which zones are currently operating and the amount of watering time left for each zone. The RICO acts as the base transmitter unit and must be used in conjunction with Gulf Valve Control Units for a complete wireless irrigation solution.

- Each zone can be given a meaningful name instead of operating purely by zone number.
